What says I
If you liked ‘Hunger Games’ and ‘Divergent’, but maybe a bit toned down, you’d like ‘Flow’. The writer kept me in Quin’s head the whole book through, her feelings and emotions, her opinion and observations. I liked that. The story has a constant feeling of doom or struggle or just plain old hardship, which I’ve learned is part of the dystopian genre. All I know is that I would not have liked a world like this.
Quin is the narrator of her story. Cassidy, or Cass, and Harper are her friends. Of the three characters, I liked Cass best. She’s feisty and strong. Probably what one would call a charismatic person. Harper reminded me too much of my own life with members of my family a constant worry. You can’t help but to root for this poor girl.
Now I need to stop writing before I blab out too much of the story. But all in all, I liked this book. It’s an easy read. And it was written in British English which I love!
