Bookish Links

Bookish links I enjoyed this past week #14

I am a serial reader and love non-fiction articles. For me to find it again and for you to enjoy, I’ll share it here weekly.

1) Reuse and recycle. I like content fresh but there are some amazing bloggers out there that reuse and recycle their content. My greatest hurdle some days are to build a plot by reusing drama or intrigue or conflict that I’ve used or read about before. This article showcases a infographic about this very aspect. http://www.writersandauthors.info/2014/05/how-to-reuse-and-recycle-your-content.html

2) Chuck helps his readers get an opinion or some advice on their sentences. In this post you can post a sentence and other readers can critique your sentence. I think this is so great! http://terribleminds.com/ramble/2014/07/13/post-a-sentence-critique-a-sentence/
3) I always seem to be wavering between subjects to blog about. Allison keeps it simple, what interests you? Short and sweet article about ideas to blog about with links to other related articles. http://www.allisontait.com/2014/07/what-to-blog-about-5-top-tips-for-new-and-aspiring-authors/
4) Weekly Writing Podcast Review by DS Bayne. http://www.dsbaynewrites.com/ (unfortunately this link isn’t there anymore)
5) Aerogrammestudio listed some great podcasts for writers. Some of the podcasts don’t seem to work in my part of the world. I find Dead Robots Society, stuffing plugs in my ears at some places but still great advice and experiences when they get talking. Another great podcast listed here is Writing Excuses. Really worth a listen. http://www.aerogrammestudio.com/2013/05/20/10-great-podcasts-for-writers/
That’s all from me this week. Enjoy it!
